STILL WANTING TO HELP OSCOTT RESIDENTS WITH LOCAL ISSUES

Oscott residents even though at the national level things are in a complete mess I am still here and trying to help residents like you deal with any local problems.
I fully understand how important these are to many residents and although clearly I cannot resolve all the issues I hear about I am always willing to try and help if I can.
Please sent me an email or leave me a message on 303 2039 if you think I can help you with a problem.

MANY SMALL GROUPS IN OSCOTT NEED NEW HELP

I would like to support and thank all those in Oscott who organise and support small groups of residents particulary the elderly and allow them to enjoy social activities.

Life is not all about committees, talking shops and expensive consultants its more about doing something useful to help others.
Weldone to all who help in a practicle way. They know who they are.

Sadly in many cases however they are getting older and urgenly need younger new blood to help with the work they do.

GLENMEAD ROAD TRIP RAILS NEED REPLACING

Sadly the trip rail put on the verge in Glenmead Road opposite the school has been damaged. I have reported this to Amey Highways and asked them to deal with it. This curbing helps keep the road which already has major parking more secure for pedestrians children and adults alike.

REPORTING A POSSIBLE DANGEROUS TREE IN THE QUESLETT NATURE RESERVE

I have had to report a tree which look as if it is leaning dangerously over the main path in the Queslett nature Reserve. It also looks as if it is starting to to go rotten. It should now be inspected and any aproapriate action taken.

This is all part of my walk abouts in the reserve. Luckily the FQNR has a good litle team doing the same sort of thing We do what we can to try and keep the reserve safe for those who use it.
