The Lord Mayor of Birmingham Councillor Mike Leddy attended the climbing frame opening ceremony at the Goodway Nursery.
Mike enjoyed cutting the ribbon and had to be held back from trying to have a go on the climbing frame himself.
The Lord Mayor spent a good hour meeting children and parents and told me he loved every minute of his trip to the nursery.
As a Governor of the Nursery I was equally pleased that Pauline Leddy the Cities first Lady also attended the event and spoke to all those present.
The new climbing frame will be well test by a number of the nurseries pupils over the coming months and I am sure they will all enjoy using it.
