HIGH WINDS BRING DOWN TREE IN CADDICK ROAD

High winds have brought down a tree in Caddick road near the bend at the end.
The large tree is now covering part of the road but cars cars still just get past.
ORA member Bob Wild and I have been in touch with the Transportation department and have been assured the tree will be removed as soon as possible given the weather conditions.
I am yet again calling on Amey to review how they prune large trees in the Oscott area as many in my view are being far to lightly pruned and this is not good enough. Trees which are well pruned on a regular basis are healthier and less likely to be blown over.
