IT IS A SHAME THERE NEEDS TO BE A SOUP KITCHEN IN OSCOTT

Sadly it is this time of year when the Austerity cuts we all hear about kick in for many people. However for some the cuts they have faced in their benefits and so on last all year around.

Even in Oscott there is a need for a soup kitchen which runs all year around and not just at Christmas.
The Seventh Day Adventists volunteers  operate a soup kitchen for the vulnerable and those struggling to make ends meet, every Wednesday lunch time at the 610 Community Centre.
They do a great job for the community.
Lets all hope for a better New Year for all.
