I thought I would ask the cabinet member for Street Services the following Question (written) at the next Council meeting. I wonder what his answer will be. I hope he has been taking action or we could end up with abandoned cars in every road.?

“ Metal menace ”
Question:
Given that the price of scrap metal is dropping significantly and car breakers and scrap metal dealers will not be so keen to take away scrap cars, are any measures being put in place to counteract any increase in abandoned vehicles on our road, which may well be the result?
