OSCOTT WARD COMMITTEE NOVA COURT JUNCTION UPDATE

On Wednesday 13th February there will be a Ward Committee meeting (to be chaired by Councillor Barbara Dring)This meeting will take place at the 610 Community centre at 7pm.
This is an opportunity to hear what is happening in the Oscott Ward and to speak to your Councillors.
At this meeting the Councils dithering Transportation department will give us an update on the Nova Court Queslett Road junction. As you may recall in the now distant past, the Transportation department promised to improve the Nova Court junction and introduce traffic lights there. It will be interesting to hear what they have to say.

Are you sure you have the date correct for the meeting

If any work is to be carried out at this junction, how are the residents of Beasley Grove,Booths lane etc going to gain access to Queslett Road whilst this work is carried out, now that the access to Queslett Road via the entrance by Beasley grove has been closed. I do hope that if we are to use Booth's lane then this road will be adopted by the council and resurfaced before any work is carried out to the Queslett Road/Nova Court junction. This road is a danger to anyone that uses it and needs attention NOW.

There would need to be thought given to the way the changes the Nova Court juntion are carried out. Given the length of time this Council are taking to do the work you would think they would have sorted out the arrangements?
I get the impression the Council have given up on Booths Lane. They should be taking action to consider adepting it in the long term and to insist on its repair by the owner in the short term.
