After years of campaigning Councillor Barbara Dring has finally manged to get the Council to upgrade the street lights in Weybourne Road.
The road will now, at least 3 years before it was originally planned! , see work to upgrade the street lights, start within weeks.
It has taken many years but at last the City as a whole is beginning to see the benefit of long term street light upgrading.
The last governments street improvements financial support initiates are paying off.
However there are still a number of teething problems regarding some of the work which is being done and I am doing what I can to help residents overcome a number of problems with the way the work is being carried out.
