KINGSTANDING CAB NEEDS MORE FUNDING

The future of Birmingham’s Citizen’s Advice Bureau including the Kingstanding branch looks very uncertain at the moment. Continued rounds of funding cuts to this charity are making things very uncertain for them.

With the increase in unemployment locally and the cut in Council services like Councillors the CAB is facing more and more demands for its services.

I have asked Constituency Council officers to look at what if anything can be done locally as well as asking the Birmingham Council chiefs and the government through our MP to give the CAB more support.

The CAB offers a wonderful service including legal information to Oscott residents and need all the support they can get.

If you would like to support the CAB you can set up a standing order donation - visit www.bcabs.org.uk or call 08444 771 010.
