Road: Kilburn Road Ward: Oscott
Reference No: BHMMS07/Y4/F808&809
What’s happening?
Amey will be carrying out repairs at various locations with asphalt materials to the footways in Kilburn Road from Kettlehouse Road to Norbury Road
When will this happen?
Amey have informed me they expect to start work on the footpath during the week ending 7th March 2014. The work will take approximately four weeks. We will work Monday to Friday between 07.30 am and 17.00 hours. Amey may undertake Saturday work during the same hours.
Footpath crossings
If you
wish to park in your front garden, you must have a footpath crossing. This is a
dropped kerb that allows you to drive over the footpath without damaging it. Reduced
cost footpath crossings are available as part of this scheme, if you wish to
have one installed, or if you wish to have an existing crossing widened, please
contact the City Council helpline on 0121
303 6644 (option 1). This must be
done before the start of the work. Properties with existing footpath crossings
will have their crossing reinstated at no charge.
Amey can
only install reduced price footpath crossings where there is a hardstanding
area to your garden, or you have obtained planning permission for a proposed
hardstanding area. Planning permission is required to install a hard standing
area to your footpath crossing on your garden, for this please contact the City
Council Planning Office direct on 0121
303 1115.
I would suggest if you want a lower priced drop curb now is your chance to get one do not miss out.
