LIBRARY FACILITIES CAN BE USED TO TRAIN COMMUNITY GROUPS

Senior Perry Barr District Housing Officers have agreed with me that  to utilise the Kingstanding Library for Housing Liaison Board business is a good idea and one that they can consider for future events and initiatives.  The library could be used for IT courses to help volunteers who join the HLB for example. Housing chiefs will now bear my suggestions in mind for future training courses.
It is by utilising our library building and equipment on behalf of the Local community, that will in my view help keep libraries open in the future. This should compliment the  excellent service Libraries and their hard working staff already give.
We must all help to keep our libraries open by using them.
