Following my campaign to keep the 89 bus route 2 bus stops have been put in Templeton Road. However due to their location and issues with local residents concerned about having their drop curbs obstructed and so on it has been agreed by Centro no further bus stops will be installed in the road which will be a relief to a number of residents.. The distance between these stops is sadly quite long.
After further discussions with Centro on behalf of elderly residents in Templeton Road it has been decided however to ask Central bus drivers to drop of elderly residents between these bus stops when and where it is safe to do so.This should help reduce the amount of walking older residents will have to do with their shopping.Passenger will need to give the drivers as much notice as possible.
I think this goes to show Centro have done their best to listen on this occasion.
