I would like to thank the Oscott Police Team for their Speed Watch operation in the Oscott Ward today.
Councillor Barbara Dring and I have passed on a number of complaints about speeding in the area to the Police on behalf of local residents.
I hope the measures the Police have been making will be noted and driver will slow down when driving along our busy and often narrow Roads.
I understand where possible warnings will be given to residents seen speeding.
Burnham Road
Old Oscott Lane
Birdbrook Road
are just some of the roads that were looked at.
I will certainly be requesting for more of these operations.
