I was delighted to be present today when Birmingham Lord Major and his lovely wife came to visit the great Barr J& I School.
As a Governor there myself I was also pleased to help show him around. John visited the Early Years Centre, Nursery and every part of the school and while with us learnt much about the work the school does with disabled children
John has a natural way with the children but the highlight for me was when he was asked if he was a pirate which in his full majors regalia he does so much look like.
All the Children and staff were very pleased to see him.
