With the increasing popularity of cycling in mind I have called upon the Transportation department to look at considering introducing cyle lanes in appropriate areas of the Oscott Ward.
One road for example I have asked that they look at is Kings Road.
A cycle lane along this road could link up Queslett Road and the Kingstanding Circle to the North Birmingham Cycle Rout which runs through Banners walk and Brookvale park and so on before heading towards the City Centre.
