ALDRIDGE ROAD RECREATION GROUND UPDATE

I have been informed that between 5:50 and 6:10 pm today the Police  assisted Bailiffs who were instructed by the Birmingham City Council,  with serving eviction notices on the travellers. There were no issues with them acknowledging the notices.

BCC inform me that the eviction is most likely to take place on Tuesday morning should they not have moved on by that time.

 I would like to thank residents for their patience and the Police for keeping me informed.

I just wish the Law was stricter and things could happen quicker.

Councillor Barbara Dring and I will do what we can to ensure other sites in the area are as secure as possible.
