THE FRIENDS OF THE QUESLETT NATURE RESERVE NEED MORE VOLUNTEERS

Popped in the Queslett Nature reserve to do some litter picking today and to have a look at some of the work that needs doing by the Friends of the Queslett Nature Reserve.

It is always amazing to me how quickly trees and grass grows at this time of year despite there being hardly any rain recently.

A number of trees on the reserve need pruning and I have asked the Parks department to look at their very tight budget to see what they can do.

I also met with Andrew Bailey who is an organizer for the Harlequins orienteering group. They will be using the reserve next week for one of their organized events and Andrew has asked to become a member of the FQNR. We need more, if you can help please email me Keith.Linnecor@Birmingham.gov.uk
