FUNDING FOR ENVIRONMENTAL WORKS AGREED AT LAST FOR OSCOTT

After months of delays the Oscott Ward Committee the 3 Oscott Councils have agreed to fund a voluntary Group to come into the Oscott Ward and carry out much needed Environmental clean ups.
The group called Jericho will help clean up land, public right of ways, clean up gardens of the disabled, and remove graffiti, amongst many other things.
They have also agreed to try and help some long term unemployed with particular needs find work if they can.

Jericho offer a whole range of services in the environment with fully trained staff and apprentices and will work from Councillors referrals.
This is Oscott Wards attempts to replace our Environmental Warden who we lost due to Council front line cuts.
