Paper and recycling collections in Oscott are of great concern to a number of Oscott residents.
Sadly on a number of occasion the correct day for collection is being missed.
Clearly this is not good enough and I can assure you when we get to know of a problem both Councillor Barbara Dring and I are doing what we can to Get the senior officers in the department to do something about it.
The Council can not expect residents to be motivated when it comes to recycling from the door step when there are so many missed collections.
It is also a cost to the department AND THE RATE PAYER in that often, paper, cans and bottles get strewn across the pavements where roads are missed and than have to be cleaned up.
