4 OSCOTT SCHOOL LANE PROPERTIES TO BE TAKEN BACK INTO THE CONTROL OF THE HOUSING DEPARTMENT

Following my representation on behalf of local residents I can announce that the 4 boarded up properties 2 to 8 Old Oscott Lane, which were formally a doctors surgery and a health centre are to come back under the control of the Housing department.

These 4 properties were formally leased to the NHS Trust but the lease has now run out and the Council intend to, as funding allows, turn them back into 4/  2 bedroom properties for the use of residents in need of accommodation.
There is a large waiting list for properties in the Oscott area and this news will be welcome.
