The next meeting of the Oscott Ward Committee will be on July 5th (Wednesday) at 7pm.
The venue will be the 610 Community Centre. Kingstanding Road.
Councillor Barbara Dring will be chairing the meeting with Councillor Tristan Chatfield and myself in attendance.
On the agenda will be Police reports for the area and an opportunity as part of the Oscott TREE campaign for residents to inform an officer of their concerns about tree pruning or replacement. ( These concerns will be fed back to the relevant tree officers who are working on a full survey of the trees in Oscott. (a report of which is expected later in the year.)
Oscott has a lot of elderly large overgrown trees which are causing numerous issues. I am calling on the authorities to have some removed and replaced in a sensible phased way ( not to many at once but over a period of time)
All Oscott residents are welcome to these meetings.
