COUNCILLOR BARBARA DRING UPDATE

Your Oscott Councillors who work for you in the Council House and in the Oscott ward all year around

Oscott Councillor Barbara Dring sadly had a nasty fall yesterday resulting in her  having to go to A&E at Goodhope Hospital.
Barbara tripped while out meeting Oscott residents with Councillor Tristan Chatfield and myself, listening to their concerns and problems.
The good news for Oscott resident is that Barbara is determined this set back will not effect her campaign to be re elected next month.
Oscott residents need Barbara who unlike some is on hand all year around meeting residents through out the ward.
She also holds advice surgeries where resident can meet her face to face to discuss issues if they so want.
Like the rest of the Oscott Councillors she is only to aware that because of government cuts forcing the Council to make awful cuts in various services many resident are more than ever in need of some one reliable to help them with their concerns. It is no good just being around during the election period, residents often need help through out the year and problems need solving all year around in Oscott.
Barbara is on the mend and has asked me to thank all those who have contacted her with sympathy following her fall and for their offers of support.
Barbara will be out and about again next week meeting Oscott residents with the Oscott Labour Team which is the only team that is out and about keeping in touch with residents all year around.
