Need help and advice searching for work or training

The KBP  Jobs club and advice sessions have helped many people back into work, training or apprentiships. The Jobclub runs every week on Thursday afternoons

Routes into Work

They  can help if you have been unemployed for less than 12 months. Talk to your Jobs Centre advisor about getting support from us under the Flexible Support Fund and how we can assist you. They  have short courses, IAG guidance, CV writing, online job searches etc. they can help you brush up your computer skills and get additional qualifications.

Long Term Unemployed?

Not been working for some years, but want to get back into the Jobs Market. they  can help you not only with CV writing and Job searches but also with short courses to build up your skills and confidence. Come and talk to them.

Thinking of volunteering?

Thinking of volunteering? Or are you already a volunteer? KBP can now help you get a qualification for volunteering. It is a modular course that keep a record of your voluntary work, helps with your understanding of how a charity works as well as giving you a CVQ qualification at level 1 or 2.

Triple P Teen. Free - 8 weekly sessions problem solving for thised difficult teenage years.

Autism Awareness & Behaviour Management - 3 free sessions help those living or working with children who have or may have difficulties on the autistic spectrum.

ADHD Awareness and Management 2 free sessions help those living or working with children who have or may have ADHD.

Managing Anger in Children and Young People - a free 4 week course which helps parents and carers teach their children and young people anger management techniques. It really does work!

SpeakEasy - 8 free sessions which help you guide and support your children through growing up, puberty, sexual health and personal safety. Don't wait until they are entering puberty or teen years - keep a step ahead and find out how to help them from their earliest toddler years. There's lots you can do to help..
