In order to be eligible to take part in the polls, all citizens must be registered under their current address on the city’s electoral roll before it closes – on 18th April.
The Birmingham City Council is urging local people to act now to protect their democratic right to vote, as they may run out of time otherwise.
Polling for votes will take place on Thursday 3rd May 7am-10pm, with voters being urged to stagger their visits throughout the day and avoid a last minute rush.
