RESIDENTS HAVE HAD ENOUGH OF PUDDLES ON HAWTHORN ROAD CARRIAGE WAY

Ever since Amey carried out their botched resurfacing work on Hawthorn Road last August residents using the pelican Crossing near the Warren Farm Road Junction have had to put up with being splashed because of puddles on the carriage way ofter rain.
Amey the Councils Highways Contractor  in my view got away with it for months because there has been little rain but the current bad weather has really shown how poor their work has been.
I have been complaining to them for many months about this situation and had officer out on a site visit but apart from attempting to clean out the drains they have taken no action.
Enough is enough if they are unable to do the work they should say so and get the Council to bring in a firm who can lay down a new carriage way without leaving a water trap on it. I am calling on their officers to sort out this issue once and for all.
