It was really pleasing to spend time with a group of pupils and staff from the Perry Beeches Academy, at the Council Housing this morning. They enjoyed a tour of the building including being allowed into the Lord Mayor of Birmingham's rooms.
Later in the Council chamber we were joined by Councillor Tristan Chatfield and went through a question and answer session ranging from the role of Local Councillors to why there is a shortage of Housing for rough sleepers and the homeless.
I hope those who came on the visit enjoyed it as much as I did.
