I have asked Amey to communicate with various utility companies regarding their plans to resurface Oscott School Lane's Pavements.
Like many other roads in the area this road has waited 50 year to have major work done to its pavements and know the gas and other companies want to carry out work in the road as well.
I have made senior Amey officials aware of this clash and they are now in discussion's with various utility companies to see if their intended work can be compatible.
It is good news that Oscott School Lane's pavements are to be resurfaced but more thought needs to go into the matter.
