Highway
chiefs have turned down residents and my own requests to resurface Ridgewood Gardens, Carriage way.
The carriage for this road is in the same sate of disrepair the rest of the
estate it belongs to was in, when the work was carried out on the other roads
on this self contained estate a short time ago.
It
would appear to me this road was missed as it is at the end of the estate and
we now have a situation where those roads on this small estate running up to
Ridgewood Gardens are resurfaced leaving Ridgewood Gardens the odd one out.
I
have now asked to see the inspection
reports for Crestwood Drive,
Wideacre Drive
and Ridgewood Gardens prior to the resurfacing of Crestwood Drive and
Wideacre Drive
to confirm my suspicions are not correct.
More of Oscott Roads need resurfacing rather than simple being "patched up.
