MOTOR BIKE PESTS IN OSCOTT

Noisy motor bikes and Quad bikes being driven at speed along Oscott Road is becoming more noticeable.
Many of these vehicles are being driven by youths who are not wearing a helmet and that could lead to a serious accident as for that matter so could the speed at which some of them are travelling.

I would ask those who are driving in such a mannor to slow down, insure your machine, deaden the vehicles noise, if not taxed find a suitable off road location to ride it and to wear a crash helmet.

I have report incidents of undue noise and speeding to the Police and asked them to do what they can to help prevent these problems which I know really annoy local residents.

Most users of motor bikes clearly ride them with care but are let down by the minority

This issue is a national one and it is time central government looked again at it.
