Many resident will be aware that there have been issues this week with
the accessibility of the City Council website. This has impacted on residents
who have tried to take advantage of the final week of the Council’s ‘Early
Bird’ Discount for the 2014 green recycling collection service and has led to
long waiting times at the Contact Centre.
In response, it has been agreed that the £5.00 ‘Early Bird’
discount will now be extended by 1 week to end of Friday November 22nd
to allow customers who have not been able to access the service to now do so.
