The Oscott Local Police Team will be holding a "Anti drink drive/ speeding" campaign at the run up to Christmas.
Drivers in the Oscott area may be pulled over if seen speeding or if seen driving a car with a defect and checked to see if they have been drinking alcohol.
The Police have offered this simple message and reminder.
Be safe do not drink and drive and remember alcohol stays in your system the morning after you have been out for a drink.
If you want to drink over the Christmas period do so safely, use a taxi / bus to get home. or arrange for some one who is not drinking alcohol to give you a lift.
