OSCOTT ELDERLY RESIDENTS HAVE A TURKEY DINNER THANKS TO CHAIR MAUREEN BYRNE

Well done Maureen Byrne and Bridget for all the work they do for the Oscott Elderly Residents group.
Today they held their Christmas dinner which gave a number of elderly Oscott Residents to have a taste of Christmas and a chance to get out of their own homes to socialise. It was also good to see George Hough (Chair Oscott Disability Group) and some of his members in attendance.

OERG members had Turkey and all trimmings at the Parson and Clarke and all fully enjoyed their selves. Along with Councillor Tristan Chatfield and Barbara Dring I was delighted to attend.
It was also an honour for me, to be asked to say a few words.

Maureen (Chair OERG) and her team work hard all year round organising events and fund raising. They meet on the 3rd Wednesday in the month at the 610 Community Centre at 11.15. For more details ring 675 2349
