Having spoken to members of the local Police Tasking Group ( This is where residents groups members, Council Officers and the Police meet to discus tactics to try and solve crime and anti social behavior in the area) I was informed that they are to pay a visit to the Burford Road Playing field at last, next Monday. I think this may be a useful way for them to see the problems there, for themselves.
Although I am unable to attend myself, I have briefed the Police on a number of issues they should be aware of. These I have picked up, from my visits to the site and from talking to local residents. Hopefully this may be a way of helping to resolve the problems residents face.
