Residents were very please to see our SOS campaign kick off on Wednesday.
A number of residents stopped to sign petitions calling for more help and awareness for out local shops.
Many of the shoppers I spoke to were concerned about the lack of resources being put into the area by the Council and wanted to see local shops remain. Many also wished to see more variety of shops in the area especially on the Hawthorn Road.
Lets hope shoppers become more aware of the need to support local shops.
