The curbs on the green half island opposite the Kingsland Junior School (Bandywood Crescent) are being raised in order to prevent cars being parked in a dangerous way near the school. It is to be hoped this measure will allow children to come out of the Kingsland main entrance unhindered by parked cars.
It may also help save the grassed area from being turned into a mud bath.
