Every year we have regular reports of accident on the Aldridge Road. Every year many residents feel let down by the Councils Transportation chiefs.
One case for example is that despite calling for the carriage way markings on the Aldridge Road to be repainted (slow down signs and keep clear lines for example) they are left un-done. In the scale of things and bearing in mind the amount of accidents the cost involved would not be that much.
I will continue to press for this work to be done as well as many other much needed safety work on the road.
