OSCOTT COMMUNITY CHEST FUNDING

The Oscott Elderly Residents Group is just one small voluntary group who apply for Oscott Community Chest funding.

The countdown to the dead line to make a application for funding from the Oscott Community Chest is now on. Dead line day is April the 9th

The Community Chest fund is a small fund given to wards across the city to give them the opportunity to have some flexibility in order to help the local community.

The Oscott Ward Advisory Board/ Strategic partnership which is made up of (Chaired by myself) Councillors Graham Green and Barbara Dring, Representatives Community Groups , the Police, Education, Health, youth and Voluntary Groups, look at requests for funding.
These requests are then with the help of Council officers evaluated and discussed.
