I was pleased to be able to attend the latest Neighbourhood Police Tasking Group meeting. These meetings are where the Police meet with community representatives, Councillors and Council officers to discuss crime priorities and issues in the Oscott Ward.
It was decided today that trying to persuade youngster to play ball games on local open spaces rather than on busy roads should become one of the priorities. Others include parking and speeding problems. (Community Speed Watch is doing well in the area)
Following the meeting the team went off to meet local residents and to look at areas of concern.
