It was with great sadness that I heard of the death (last week) of Mrs Jean Baker.
Jean worked tirelessly for the local community as a member of the Oscott North Neighbourhood Forum and before its axing by the Councils,Housing department for the Oscott Housing Liaison Board.
Jean was one of those rarities today a wonderful caring person who worked with no personal agenda for the local community.
Jean was also a member of the Friends Queslett Nature Reserve which she cared very much about.
My thoughts are with Jean,s family. She will be sadly missed.
