ANTI SOCAIL BEHAVIOR DETERRENT FOR GREAT BARR LEISURE CENTRE

Due to the diligent work of PC Casson the Oscott Schools Liaison officer, funding has been found to have prickly bushes planted near the Great Barr Leisure Centre wall (next to the Aldridge Road Recreation Ground.)
Although there have been some delays, it is hoped these plants will go in early next year.
Given the anti social behavior occurs near the offending wall and the graffiti on it, which has to be cleaned off regularly, I was only to pleased to offer my support for this project.
Hopefully the planting of these bushes, will complement proposals to install new CCTV cameras near the Great Barr Leisure Centre and will help combat the anti social behavior which is happening there.
