I was pleased to note that the Great Barr School have put in a request for planning permission regarding using one of their old disused play grounds for staff parking.
This idea was put to them by myself and former Councillor John Cotton about 5 years ago and I am pleased that the School is finally looking seriously at the option. While we are waiting I will be carrying on working with local residents and monitoring the parking situation.
