There is now a group of Travelers encamped on a site in the Perry Barr Constituency. Given the past cost of clearing up after travelers have left sites, I have requested that the relevant Council authorities and the Police monitor the situation. I have also asked they take any appropriate action needed to prevent travelers camping on other open spaces in the area.
Please be vigilant, if you suspect travelers may be trying to enter a site please contact the Police.
There is a much under used official travelers site in CastleBromwich which these travelers should be required to use.
