The Oscott Campaign Team led by Councillor Councillor Barbara Dring has moved a step closer to finding funding for the Burford Road Playing Field fencing.
Following intensive discussions with Council Chiefs funding is being found to replace fencing on parts of the field.
Further talks are to take place later this month but along with Councillor Barabara Dring and Councillor Tristan Chatfield I am now very hope full that we will be able to honour pledges made by others in the past and find genuine funding for the fencing.
I would also like to reassure residents and those who use the field that the gap in the Stowell road side of the field will be retained to allow residents to use the field.
