AGE UK HANDY MAN / GARDEN PROJECT AS FUNDED BY OSCOTT COMMUNITY CHEST

Earlier this year the Oscott Ward Committee with the backing of the Oscott Ward Advisory Board gave Age UK the full £5.000 which they had requested through the Oscott Community Chest program funding program. This money has been added to other funds raised.

Age UK will use this money on their Handy Man project, to help elderly residents (in the Oscott area) to do small jobs in their homes for example dripping taps.
Some of the funding given will also go towards funding their gardening project which helps elderly residents keep their gardens under control in the Oscott area..
Along with the other Oscott Councillors i was pleased we were able to give the full amount requested.
If you or an elderly  relative or friend need help with a small house hold job or need a garden tidied up please ring Age UK for details 358 0309
